I always passed this place as just another deli/bagel spot… it is the FURTHEST from it. A month ago, I saw a sign for their Reuben sandwich. I tried it out and it’s my absolute FAVORITE in New Jersey. Kind staff, feels family owned and just a great working class place that has been here for a long time serving JC, no wonder why they’ve been open for as long as I’ve known. The toast of the bread and its crunch. The slaw sweet contrasting AND complimenting the seasoned and perfectly cooked corned beef. Such an unassuming place, but you gon make an ASS out of U and ME if you don’t get off your bottom and not try their Reuben. Their Reuben combo is my favorite, tell me what’s your favorite?

So mad that I've gone to DD across the street from Toasted Bagels for so long. Familiarity I suppose. Never again! I've had bagels from Brooklyn and you just can't beat them....this place is pretty spot on though....crispy crust with light and airy dough inside. Honestly, the best bagel I've had in Hudson County. Nora makes them fresh, onsite daily!

If you're in the Jersey City area, these burgers are definitely worth trying. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fried eggs sautéed onions and avocado. It was perfectly done and satisfying. Walid the chef is very welcoming and always suggests the right toppings. One of the best family owned food business in town. They also offer in house bagels with unique toppings. Come early because they sell out fast!
